IRIS is committed to building micro, small and medium enterprises. The company has set up structures, with partners, experts, data bases and resources, that enable provision of solutions to business challenges. Our services are rendered through and for our four core programmes, as follows:
The IFDC CATALIST - Uganda Agri-business Challenge
This project aims at supporting ambitious agro based entrepreneurs to grow their businesses. IRIS conducts training, coaching and mentoring of these businesses to grow. This project has run from August 2014 and is still ongoing.
The IFDC CATALIST - Uganda Training of Trainers in Farming as a Business
IRIS conducted training of trainers (agronomists, extension workers, producer organisation advisors) to appreciate the applications of Farming as a Business. This project took place between March and July 2015.
Customer Care training for KinderCare Schools
IRIS trained Kindakare schools staff in customer care. The two day training event attracted aver 50 trainees. The training left the Kindakare as one team thirsty for changing their customer care approach.
