About Us...

IRIS Consulting & Training Ltd. is a Business Development Services (BDS) company based in Uganda, targeting the Great Lakes Region.  Registered in 2009, IRIS grows entrepreneurs and enterprises, focusing on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), providing:

  • Institutional internal capacity development through training, mentoring/coaching;

  • Investment linkages through traditional and innovative financing channels;

  • Market access through formal contracts and less formal business networking platforms; and,

  • Internship and Volunteer programmes.

IRIS is official Partner for BiD Network in Uganda. Bid Network is an non-profit organisation based in Amsterdam operating in 17 countries. BiD Network prepares emerging market SMEs for investors and supports entrepreneurs by providing technical support to start and grow their businesses.

We believe that SMEs will make the actual difference in our economies. We believe that committed entrepreneurs with focus and integrity will definitely make it in Africa. We know that the Great Lakes region can be a global economic force. We are convinced that Uganda, the Pearl of Africa, is way above any other investment destination in promise.
