In July 2016, Joy Daphne Ndegemo became the first Ugandan lawyer in the history of Pepperdine University School of Law to get admitted. In May 2018, Ms. Joy received her LL.M in International Commercial Law & Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine’s famous Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution (ranked as the world’s #1 dispute resolution program by US News and World News).
